Wolfpack Pentathletes Win Five National Titles and Eight Medals at the 2021 USA Modern Pentathlon National Championships
Wolfpack Pentathlon Club members won five National Championship titles and eight medals (four gold, two silver, and two bronze) at the 2021 USA Modern Pentathlon National Championships, which were held on May 21-23, 2021, at the New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) in Roswell, New Mexico.

Day 1 — U17, U19, Juniors, Seniors, and Masters Female Divisions
On Day 1 of the competition, Dr. Jeanette Lee won the Gold Medal in the M30, M40, and M50 female divisions, becoming the uncontested reigning National Champion across those three masters female divisions.

Day 1 — U11, U13, and U15 Youth Male Divisions
On Day 1, Iver Iverson won the Gold Medal in the U13 male division and the Bronze Medal in the U11 male division, becoming the uncontested reigning National Champion in the U13 male division.

On day 1, Kira Bardin won the Gold Medal and became the National Champion in the U15 female division.

Kira Bardin was awarded the Silver Medal in the U15 female division on Day 1 of the 2021 USA Modern Pentathlon National Championships, but was later declared the National Champion of the U15 female division after a scoring mix-up was resolved
Day 2 — U17, U19, Juniors, Seniors, M30, M40, and M50 Male Divisions
On Day 2, Kirt Iverson won the Gold Medal in the M30, M40, and M50 male divisions, beating two or three challengers in each division, becoming the National Champion across those three divisions. Kirt also finished in fifth-place in the Seniors division and sixth place overall in the competition.

Day 3 — Seniors Mixed Relay
On Day 3, Kirt Iverson and Heidi Hendrick won the Bronze Medal in the Seniors Mixed Relay.
Heidi and Kirt got off to a great start, winning heat #2 of the swim with a time of 1:56 (0:54 for Heidi, 1:02 for Kirt) for the 200 yards, which put them in fourth place overall, just 20 points, 14 points, and 1 point behind the top three teams, respectively.
Next, Heidi and Kirt took third place in the fencing event with a team record of 27 victories and 13 defeats. Here is a video of an important bout that made the difference between third and fourth place.

Day 3 — U15 Mixed Relay
On Day 3, Kira Bardin and her relay partner, Lucas Tang, won the Gold Medal in the U15 mixed relay, becoming the uncontested reigning National Champions in that division.
