Wolfpack Pentathletes Perform Well at USAPM Qualifier #2

Two Wolfpack pentathletes competed at USA Pentathlon Multisport National Team Qualifier #2, the last of the 2022 National Team qualifying events, which was held in Marietta, GA, on December 18-19, 2021.

Kira Bardin completed her first-ever full Modern Pentathlon, taking second place in the Youth division. She also finished in 17th-place overall in the women’s field. Kira scored a total of 594 points, taking 12th in the fencing (205 points), 14th in the riding (297 points), and 16th in the laser-run (92 points).

Kirt Iverson won the Silver Medal in the Masters Men 30+ division and finished in 7th-place overall in the men’s field. Kirt scored a total of 1037 points, taking 2nd in the riding (300 points), 8th in the fencing (190 points), 8th in the swimming (218 points), and 11th in the laser-run (329 points).
